Jing Wei at London Fashion Week

er Styles Rocker: (applause, breathlessly)  McQueen! Little wonder it looks regal and supreme…That ALARMINGLY gorgeous London Collections: Men fedora is in your capsule collection; not mine. Super jealous! Oh my gosh! That's not fair. Since it boasts a striking resemblance to the melody of Black Peaks - Glass Built Castles. I'd not hesitate to rock it, envyingly, all day. Hot or what! Like Holika holika, it looks astonishingly expensive yet obstreperously cool, so cool that it ignites this burning desire. I  have found the one. I'll tempted to own this fire. otherwise, I'll clone it with the help of the wearer. Okay, I will settle for a cardboard cut-out. Claim the gold, while I revel in the awe of this discover.             LFW SS17

Thalia: That's enough! How corny! There is truth to the rumors that he's head over heels for a fedora. His packed wardrobe would be empty without one.

The stylist walking the sidewalk at London Fashion Week is  Jing Wei, a Fashion Blogger in China. She’s a Jewellery Designer as well. Steal her chic, midnight aesthetic by coupling a runway fedora by Ted Baker with Alexander McQueen jacket, shoes, VICTORIA BECKHAM satchel and ALEXANDER WANG leather skirt.
....
Faye Wong: I know fedora is a top hat, but isn’t that that’s a little over the top? Strike a pose, please

er Styles Rocker: I just wanna say that your outfit today...That London Fashion Week outfit is so sweet, stupendous fun and exceptionally chic; a literal tease; the model fashion week aesthete. Like PVRIS - You And I, it is has a coveted spot in my heart. You are a super lucky stylist. I'm literally desperate for this accolade-winning style. Oh my gosh, I'm basically speechless. Hurrah for the breathtakingly demagogic fedora hat. Just wow! I take my hat off to you for styling it in this attire. Its seriously creating waves for that gold.

Jing Wei: ...is...

er Styles Rocker: ...is super immersive

Jing Wei: Thank you

er Styles Rocker: (gushes animatedly) I am thankful for  London Fashion Week…

Jing Wei: (nods)

er Styles Rocker: …I am thankful for Monday. I LOVE London Fashion Week; ASTRONOMICALLY. Oh, these elements are so pristine. In particular, just take a look at this beautiful outfit

[LAUGHTER]

er Styles Rocker: I’ll be super delighted if you share the inspiration, seriously speaking, for this, er, appealing aesthetic, you are unveiling today.

Jing Wei: So, actually, I’m wearing black. I LOVE black. I design this piece of jewelry for a British brand. A womens-wear brand. My hat is made by, er, made by…Can I continue?

er Styles Rocker: Yes, please! Continue

Jing Wei: My hat is made by Ted Baker; a British brand. I QUITE like it. It’s QUITE British; a fashionable brand. And my. This jacket is made by Alexander McQueen
er Styles Rocker: McQueen. Little wonder it looks regal and supreme…That ALARMINGLY gorgeous fedora is your capsule collection; not mine. Super jealous! Oh my gosh! That's not fair. It has a striking resemblance to melody of Black Peaks - Glass Built Castles. I'd not hesitate to rock it, envyingly, all day. Hot or what! It looks astonishingly expensive yet obstreperously cool that it ignites this burning desire. I  have found the one. I'll tempted to own this fire. otherwise, I'll clone it with the help of the wearer. Okay, I will settle for a cardboard cut-out. Claim the gold, while I revel in the awe of this discover.

Jing Wei: I really LIKE it because you can see lots of details (show-off details). The design is very soft

er Styles Rocker: And poignant. The details are QUITE iridescent; I love them…

Jing Wei: ..and also I love this design shape (U cut at front of jacket)…It shows my piece of jewelry…

er Styles Rocker: Hmm. So stupendous; astronomically appealing. That stunning bag!

Jing Wei: This is, a vintage trousers. It’s leather. Today I’m wearing casual (style) but it also has…some serious feelings…office…office ladies…

er Styles Rocker: (helpfully)…formal wear. (understandingly) Yes!

Jing Wei: Yes. I choose these trousers…
er Styles Rocker: …culottes…

Jing Wei: To match my jacket
er Styles Rocker: Coupled with that epitome of rock fedora, I can see a perfect match; perfect coupling right there. You match maker…
Jing Wei: (chuckles) Thank you. Yes!...

Styles Rocker:…sartorial cupid. That bag!
Jing Wei: The bag, I really LOVE it
Styles Rocker: I REALLY love it also. Not as much as I LOVE that fedora, however; love at first sight…
Jing Wei:…This (flaunts bag) is actually handmade IN 1940

er Styles Rocker: 1940! Wow. Someone was clearly, artistically engaged during the World War II
Jing Wei: And this shape, it’s…
er Styles Rocker: …Oh my gosh! It looks immaculately breath-taking condition
Jing Wei: Yes!
er Styles Rocker: So how did it wind up in your wardrobe. What’s the moral of the story?
Jing Wei: I bought this in a Mayfair antique show; antique show in London

Styles Rocker: Wow!
Jing Wei: This, (the bag) obviously, I bought it from a French collector…he stocked so many luxury brands
er Styles Rocker: I'm a super fan of this one. That’s the epitome of luxury at its highest point.
Jing Wei: This is entire crocodile skin
Yea
Jing Wei:The shape is...clutch

er Styles Rocker: What an immersive silhouette! It takes my breath, away. I LOVE it astronomically
Jing Wei: It’s really really good antique
er Styles Rocker: That heart beat is the perfect investment element. Take extremely good care of it. I LOVE it, completely…Oh my gosh! Those shoes…They are QUITE, er…

THALIA: (suggest word)…nice
er Styles Rocker: (ignore word suggestion)…mellifluous!
Jing Wei:…Because it’s from the Alexander McQueen designer as well, so you can see, it’s made of leather
er Styles Rocker: I LOVE the details. They boast the most grit, the edge. It’s really fierce
Jing Wei: Because my jacket has some detailed designs, I thought it wouldn’t match…

er Styles Rocker: They are the perfect match…
Enyiu: If er Styles Rocker says it’s so, then it’s so. He should know. At London Fashion Week he walks the sidewalk, he passes the front row, heads for the standing spot behind the  back row….

er Styles Rocker: …As an art form, styling is not merely but matching elements; it’s about mis-matching them. Perfect styling! You must do a styling tutorial, on YouTube. Imagine your own style tutorial. The whole universe would go stylish
Jing Wei: Well, my personal style is very fashionable. I LOVE designs. I LOVE to see so many galleries, especially since I'm hosting a radio  show. My life is so colorful (giggles)

er Styles Rocker: That’s brilliance, just like your outfit. Where are you from incidentally?
Jing Wei: I’m from China
er Styles Rocker: Oh,  we LOVE China
Jing Wei: Oh thank you

er Styles Rocker: We adore the Chinese sartorial aesthetic, so lovable. This beautiful , magnificent style you are unveiling today. That beauty makes me super keen to discover the other elements; clothes you have stashed away in your wardrobe. We have seen these heart-melting ones you are rocking, especially that heart-stealing fedora, therefore we are really interested in a picture of your wardrobe

Jing Wei: In my wardrobe, I have so many, I think Chinese designers. For instance, for example, very traditional Chinese clothes, Chinese dresses

er Styles Rocker: …Chinese fedora!
Jing Wei: I also have British brands. I LOVE Burberry. I LOVE Burberry coats
er Styles Rocker: … What’s not to love! Every self-respecting stylist are head over heels for their creations. Their French coats are to die for; elements to look forward to each year. Their d=fedoras…
Jing Wei:…I LOVE so many good designers, but I also have so many vintage, antique jewelry

er Styles Rocker: If I look in your wardrobe, I’d take full control. It would be increasingly hard to recover from the sartorial splendor. No wonder!
Jing Wei: I collect jewellery…
er Styles Rocker: …Immersive
Jing Wei: I like coral, the ring, necklace. I’m wearing a Victoria period ring today
er Styles Rocker: A period element! how immersive!
Jing Wei: Made in Italy...

er Styles Rocker: magnifico!
Jing Wei:…in 1980...

er Styles Rocker: Wow! Proper retro then, proper vintage. Your accessories taste is like; impeccable, discernible and, er, tasteful. It leaves me speechless, breathless...

Jing Wei:...This is actually (showing off bracelet aesthetics)...

er Styles Rocker: ...astounded...

Jing Wei:...a very interesting Chinese bracelet. And this (bangle) is antique, diamond, a vintage bangle as well. I LOVE wearing Chinese things...

er Styles Rocker: At London Fashion Week, I LOVE spotting Chinese things, like these. They are super stupendous. I am COMPLETELY in love with them, even though I am seeing for the very first time. I completely LOVE them

Jing Wei: Yes.

er Styles Rocker: London Fashion Week is a striking spectacle, undeniably. If a passer-by, should stop and ask you what on earth is happening here today, what would be your considered response?

Jing Wei: I think London Fashion Week is an opportunity. For me, because I was a journalist before...

er Styles Rocker: ...Journalist, stylist...there is seemingly no end to the talents on your list. Anyway, carry on...

Jing Wei: Then I started doing fashion illustrations. In fact, I studied at Central Saint Martins university. I came to London Fashion Week and got so much inspiration. That's why I decided to design jewelries. So I think London Fashion Week is inspiration and opportunity...

er Styles Rocker: Quintessentially, yes! A precise definition. Inspiration is the WHOLEsome essence of the bi-annual showcase. You share your unique inspiration and you'll be assured that you will be inundated with inspiration - even if you have little or no inspiration, in your heart, to impart. The influencers are the WHOLESsome fashion week set and the rock star who showcase their creations on the catwalk. designers That's why we LOVE it, er,
stupendously.

Jing Wei: Hmm(murmurs agreement)

er Styles Rocker: And what trends from the Spring Summer season are you aware of?

Jing Wei: You mean the spring summer?...

er Styles Rocker: ...Yes. What stylings are in vogue now?

Jing Wei: You mean London Fashion Week or my, my...?

er Styles Rocker: Just generally speaking.

Jing Wei: I think London Fashion Week, this year, is better than last year. There are more designers. Especially - I saw so many Chinese designers

er Styles Rocker: We LOVE the Chinese designers. I went to a Chinese designer's (Huishan Zhang) catwalk showcase last week and the creations were super immersive; every aspect of the presentation was stupendous. Therefore, as the presumptive cheerleader for London Fashion Week, we welcome the Chinese designers to come, again and again

Jing Wei: They express the ideas they get from Europe. We love the see Chinese ideas come and showcase their designs at London Fashion Week; East meets West...

er Styles Rocker: We are completely in love with the east's fashion sense; in essence, the whimsical aesthetics that it offers. London |Fashion Week is a platform where we get the best designs from the east...

Jing Wei: I LOVE your idea

LAUGHTER

er Styles Rocker: Your style is immaculate, STUPENDOUS, astounding....priceless?

Jing Wei: Yes, obviously!
