Adefolake at London Collections Men

er Styles Rocker: (swoons, breathlessly) Hello! That LCM fedora is fiercely uproarious yet ultra cool. I want it. Weak in their knees, the WHOLEsome Mens Fashion Week set is daydreaming about it right now, as I speak. Wow! I just LOVE fedoras. Look! They are all super exquisite. This one is no exception. How exceptional it looks; the model fedora hat; in other words, the prefect element. What a treasure to discover! It belongs in my fedora repertoire, most importantly, there is a reserve spot for it next to my, er, pillow.    SS17

Aranda: Enough of that Mawkish gulp! Strike a pose, please, Adefolake:
https://www.facebook.com/zokaya.kamara
The fashionista walking the sidewalk outside Mens Fashion Week aka London Collections Men, is Adefolake, who works with kids; she looks after kids. How kind!  A super important job. Since her FINE style makes you smile, go ahead and steal it. Simply team a runway fedora by Forever 21 with other statement elements; ROCKANDBLUE leather biker jacket, Warehouse denim skirt, Zara IT bag and H&M shoes.
er Styles Rocker: I REALLY love your job of caring for children
Adefolake: (chuckles)
er Styles Rocker: In addition, I LOVE the style you are showcasing, all day...Oh my gosh! that London Collections Men outfit is so, so staggeringly stylish. Oh yes, it's an embodiment of the Fashion Week aesthetic. Just like a fedora hat; the styling is nestled at the very top; a stammeringly eternal circle. In other words, it’s the best. Clearly, however, that astoundingly beguiling fedora is the crown. I'm its huge fan of that, er, thunder. It’s smoking hot; it’s the furnace in a dessert. In fact, like a Fashion House guess, it makes me feel, er, speechless

Adefolake:Thank you (shows off outfit, proudly) (strikes impromptu poses)
er Styles Rocker: It seems like a pretty inspired aesthete, please describe the inspiration behind this strikingly appealing style.
Adefolake: Most of the time, I go for comfort. I can't wear jeans all the time. I wear this jeans skirt with just  the white T shirt, the leather jacket; I just wanted something comfortable...
er Styles Rocker:..Look! This style passes the comfortable test. Every single aspect of this styling is on point. It's reflected with STUPENDOUS flair, and, oh my gosh, panache. We are enormously inspired by the statement elements you are unveiling, particularly that demagogic head-turner fedora
Adefolake: Thank you

er Styles Rocker: If you turn you head and have a look, just a few meters up the sidewalk, you will see an tremendous number of well-dressed fashionistas; like yourself
Adefolake: (spins around momentarily)
er Styles Rocker: Can you tell me what on earth is happening up there? For heaven's sake, please explained why there are so many impeccably turned out INTERNATIONAL stylists walking the sidewalk
Adefolake: (laughs) I was told that there is a show happening today; Menswear Collection
er Styles Rocker: Menswear Collection! That’s a cool name. The hierarchy should seriously consider changing London Collections: Men to Menswear Collection...So you weren’t aware that Men’s Fashion Week aka London Collections Men is underway this week?

Adefolake: No!
er Styles Rocker: Oh my gosh! Yet, your outfit looks the part, so much that it has singlehandedly captured my heart
Adefolake: (laughs helplessly)
er Styles Rocker: I am completely dazzled. Against this backdrop, and on behalf of the hierarchy, I take this opportunity to welcome your serendipitous style to Men's Fashion Week aka London Collections Men
Adefolake: Yeah!
er Styles Rocker: We appreciate and admire your effortlessly cool style, so much, that I am super animated to discover the names of these sartorial elements you are rocking, especially that bald, sorry I meant BOLD, modern and super edgy fedoras. Fedora first, please!
Adefolake: My hat is Forever 21

er Styles Rocker: Wow! it's prodigiously stylish, super stupendous, it makes the ensemble look more ubiquitous, like a thief, it has taken my breath away. Like a rustic play-suit, it’s playful, feminine, chic, animated and individualistic.
(chuckles) yeah!

er Styles Rocker: That fedora is fiercely uproarious yet ultra cool. I want it. Wow! I LOVE fedoras. Look! They are all super exquisite. This one is no exception. How exceptional it looks; the model fedora hat; in other words, the prefect element. What a treasure! It belongs in my fedora repertoire, most importantly, there is a reserve spot for it next to my, er, pillow... How many fedoras do you take care of in your capsule collection?

Adefolake: Oh! I have a lot
er Styles Rocker: It's all about a fedora; it's the base, foundation, in other words, the knight in shining armor, in a  hit attire. A lot? Why do you possess so many - you are just one fashionista. What are you doing with more than one fedora?
Adefolake: (laughs, hangs on to fedora, smugly) I really like the way it makes my face look (gesticulate with hands) it really focuses the attention on my face
er Styles Rocker: It accomplishes that feat with inordinate grace, presence and humility. In fact, it pulls the attention to the other key, supporting elements, and by extension, the entire aesthete, as a whole. What a fedora! The indisputable hero! What other reasons do you have for always incorporating a fedora as the star element in your outfits? Please explain, particularly for the benefit for those fashionistas who just don’t understand why it’s such a big deal
Adefolake: It always seems to add something to an outfit. It can makes a plain outfit - standout
er Styles Rocker: REALLY standout. It enhances, grants an outfit more, er, edgy more trajectory, more traction, more momentum...
Adefolake: Yes
er Styles Rocker: I agree with you. I am in charge of my own spring/summer collection also. Whenever I rock one at Fashion Week, Fashion Editors always feel speechless.
Adefolake: I think this is from Warehouse
er Styles Rocker: That leather jacket?
Adefolake: No, the denim skirt. This (leather jacket) is quite cool
er Styles Rocker: It is! Super cool! (teases freelance photographer) take a selfie of it you fool. (to Adefolake) No one rocks a denim skirt like you; it’s immensely, filtering, sorry, I mean FLATTERING.
Adefolake: Thank you
er Styles Rocker: That sleeveless, er, heavenly biker jacket
Adefolake: I got it recently, actually, for £1.00
er Styles Rocker: (incredulity) One pound? In what town, did you discover that, er, crown?
Adefolake: My friend convinced me to get it
er Styles Rocker: She convinced you? Were you blind or something? How could you not see that, like a fedora, this element was a gem
He’s likes to  makeup lyrics’ about style; such a sweet talker, especially about fedoras
When a fashion week aesthetic inspires me, it’s super easy to speak about it like this. Your style is IMMENSELY inspirational, it boasts the most personality and creativity.
Adefolake: I was like, this (biker jacket) is pretty cool, but…
er Styles Rocker: It’s HUGE! You shouldn’t have had second thoughts because it was oversized. Oversize is always in vogue. Just check for yourself. Oversize is always on trend. Just ask your friend. For recommending this purchase, she’s a friend for life
Adefolake: (laughs) [blows kiss – towards her friend]
er Styles Rocker: That bag is immersive also.
Adefolake: It’s from Zara
er Styles Rocker: Zara designs are perpetually immersive. This one is more than immersive; it’s stupendous
Adefolake: The shoes are from H&M
er Styles Rocker: That’s a choice of the highest order, intelligence. I LOVE them. I LOVE the silhouette, the design, in fact, every single aspect, the design…So we have discovered these rapturous elements  you are rocking today, understandably, I am no highly keen to establish what other gems are ensconced in your wardrobe. Paint the picture, please
Adefolake: erm. I don’t know
What other clothes do you have in your wardrobe/ You are supposed to know. How come you don’t know. Should I ask your friend instead?
Adefolake: (laughs) I have A LOT of, erm, street stuffs…
Streetwear! Now we are getting somewhere
Adefolake: …Simple, clean; not too much…

…In style That’s called minimal; the minimal aesthetic or less is more; as oppose to the maximalist aesthete. Minimalism suits you, er…
…(suggest words) Nicely?
…ASTOUNDINGLY! Stop putting words in my mouth
Thank you so much
Beofre you walk the sidewalk, may I have your permission to publish this video on our youtube show called Sidewalk Darlings?
Yeah! That’s fine.
(rather loudly, overly emphatic)) Your style is IMMERSIVE. The WHOLEsome Fashion Week set is, er, inordinately inspired. Remember, you have a friend for life also. Had it not been for her, you would have missed  on not just a bargain of a lifetime, but an astoundingly beguiling aesthetic of a lifetime…

Michael Kalonji at London Collections Men

er, Styles Rocker: (gushes, rhythmically) Only  a true Fashion Week style rocker like, er, Styles Rocker who loves GARBAGE, Empty, would adore and appreciate that OBSEQUIOUS fedora hat. [Empty by Garbage; the rock sweltering ROCK band] Clearly a terrestrial element, but, WOW, it looks stupendously celestial; so hot; lush as a painter's brush; the #LCM fedora of my dream, fit for an on trend Queen. i LOVE all its attributes; the design, the silhouette the texture. Oh my gosh! This is a heart-felt tribute...  London Collections: Men
https://www.facebook.com/SidewalkDarlings/

Christophe:...Styles UltrA, shut the GULP up. Strike a pose, Michael, please.
The keynote fashionista walking the sidewalk at London Fashion Week is Michael, a Fashion Blogger who does a bit of designing also. Steal his perpetually sonorous style by coupling an obstreperous fedora by Penmayne of London with Blackmeans biker jacket, Burberry coat and Santoni shoes.
……
er, Styles Rocker: (enthuses, lyrically) This London Collections: Men  outfit looks superlatively legendary today. I’m sure your dress sense is, er, inordinately interplanetary. Little wonder, therefore, it’s making an indelible impression on the WHOLEsome FashionWeek set. To be honest, I’m highly keen on discovering the inspiration behind this outstanding aesthetic that you are showing off at London Collections Men;
http://allthatrageseries.blogspot.com

MICHAEL: It’s just, basically, it’s a funny story. I just saw the new Quentin Tarantino movie, couple days ago. So he inspired me to make something for myself. – (show off his attire) This is me! This is my own design

er, Styles Rocker:: Utter brilliance! I’m speechless. Awesome creations! Can you explain the mouth-watering details on the jacket?

MICHAEL: This (brandishes an image of the King of Pop) is Michael Jackson, and he’s a legend…
er, Styles ultrA:…Just like your rampageous fedora…

MICHAEL: …This (shows image of The Strokes) is my favourite band and these (shows other images) are just some Rock and Roll; sparks – rock and roll vibes, you know

er, Styles ultrA: (sings)I LOVE rock and Roll (by Joan Jett and The BlackHearts)…Those details are legendary, indeed. I really appreciate every single detail; every effort that you expended into this creation…So what other elements do you have in your wardrobe? In other words, what other clothes?

MICHAEL: I’m a fan of the whole black…

er, Styles ultrA:…The midnight aesthetic, that’s what Fashion Week fashion editors call it

MICHAEL: It’s QUITE mysterious – leather jacket, black coat; Everything! Rock and Roll!
er, Styles ultrA: That FLAMING fedora is the epitome of rock and roll. How many do you have in your collection?  www.twitter.com/ZokayaKamara

MICHAEL: 20 – 25. I got a lot of fedoras. I LOVE fedoras …They complement the whole outfits. I can’t go out without my fedora, I LOVE it…

er, Styles ultrA: TWENTY TO TWENTY FIVE!...Oh my gosh! You are a man
after my own heart. Fedoras play a key role in my styling also…So compulsive…so persuasive…so possessive. I absolutely LOVE it. That’s precisely how I feel about fedora hats also, so the see a fashionista, of your calibre, like you rocking one, so effortlessly so superbly, is an honor. Honestly! Undoubtedly, you are motivating other stylists to emulate the trend.

MICHAEL: Thank you very much
er, Styles ultrA: Speaking about trends, did you look at the Spring/Summer or even the Autumn/Winter trends for inspiration, when  you plan this stylish outfit?

MICHAEL: Yes, I do! There’s been so many good  trends, that I have seen but to be honest, mate, I always like to come up with something that haven’t been done before

er, Styles ultrA: Yes! You sartorial pioneer, style engineer
MICHAEL: I always try to be different
er, Styles ultrA: That’s a rare an admirable trait, you sartorial Shakespeare

MICHAEL:…standout, be unique…
er, Styles ultrA: You have individuality and creativity shines, you know. There is no limit in creativity. You just create and inspire until you perspire. You lead other fashionistas to rock your style, even tweed. The WHOLEsome fashion week set appreciates and admire the effort; the genius that you invested in this winning outfit – into your style

MICHAEL: …Because when you see the trends you allow follow the trends. That stops you from
creating…

er, Styles ultrA:…Precisely!...

MICHAEL: …You tend to wear whatever they tell you to wear and that’s not you…
er, Styles ultrA:Precisely!

MICHAEL: It’s best to come up with your own style….
er, Styles ultrA: mammal, sorry I mean MINIMAL, wild or chic; it doesn’t matter. Your personal style reflects your sartorial appetite – besides, it’s the aesthetic that you enjoy portraying…So London Collections Men, why is it important for the UK?

MICHAEL: We needed to come up with something for men; where they can express themselves. Ours! I was at London Fashion Week the last time, and it was mostly women the photographers were shooting, but that’s fine, because it’s their thing. London Collections: Men is OUR thing. Of course, women are welcome

er, Styles ultrA: …(sings lyrics from his frock tune called London Collections Men) What’s a show without women, who, like men, ATTEND, in their sartorial gems, creatives behind the scenes…. Sorry about that…
MICHAEL: but London Collections Men is US…We can express ourselves

er, Styles ultrA: …London Fashion Week is the platform for showcasing womenswear designers’ offerings. On the other hand, London Collections: Men, is our platform to, to…for new menswear designers to showcase their new collections,

MICHAEL: It’s a lovely gesture to give young designers the opportunity to showcase their designs

er, Styles ultrA: We appreciate the menswear design talents; both men and women…For the benefit of those who are not lucky enough to see my bombastic outfit, how would you describe it?
MICHAEL: The way you dress, the way you put your outfit together. That’s creativity! You did not copy it from some sort of magazine. That’s you! Everything! It reflects your personality. That’s is why I love it

er, Styles ultrA: Spot on. The hierarchy has been following the ever evolving style chameleon, so I’m sure and it would definitely endorse your pronouncements…Before you walk the sidewalk, may we have your permission to publish this video on our youtube show called Sidewalk Darlings?

MICHAEL: Yes! Always! Always!
