Vintage Fashion? Frock me!

VINTAGE fashion fair at Chelsea Old Town Hall? FROCK me! Actually, it was one hell of a fair. The creations were pretty appetising and entrance tickets were unsurprisingy, Made in Chelsea. Fuchun, aka the sidewalk playboy, was delighted to discover the fair was not just about Frocks. About 0.5% of the displays were menswear.

FUCHUN

Hurrah! I will DEFINITELY find something from the Great Gatsby ear, sorry, ERA. Frock me!

袁艾菲

Good luck, Fuchun. I look forward to style you in Great Gatsby inspired clothes.....And don't forget, you need an outfit to wear to the forthcoming London Collections: Men

VITAMIN B
(cynically)

Fuchun, If you find ANYTHING, I'll photograph even the moment you hand over the money to its seller.

FUCHUN

Frock you.

FUCHUN

So what's your impression of the vintage fair so far

Vindu Dara
(gushed)

Frock me. It's the best one. I adore the quality quality craftsmanships, designs and materials. I'm VERY keen.

FUCHUN

Have you found any gems?

Vindu Dara

Not yet. I'm looking for clothes that are keepable....

FUCHUN

....investment pieces...

Vindu Dara

Correct! When I stop wearing them, I'd like to bequeath them to the loved ones...in my will

......................................................................

MARRONE

I love vintage jewellery...

FUCHUN

Well, it seem you came to the right place. There are some beautiful jewellery on this stall

MARRONE

All that glitter are not always FROCKING gold..

FUCHUN

You lost me, what do you mean?

MARRONE

I'll have to carefully examine the jewellery to see if they were made from metals or stones, gemstones or crystals

FUCHUN
(sighs)

Now, no one will be able to find me

MARRONE
(sighs impatiently)

Frock sake! SIMPLY, I'm interested in the real thing. For example, jewellery made of REAL gold instead of cheap metals that tarnishes soon after purchase..

FUCHUN
(conspiratorially)

Well, I suggest you move on from this stall QUICKLY

MARRONE

Really?

FUCHUN
(laughed)

Just FROCKING about. Stay. These jewellery look like gems

MARRONE

You REALY think so?

FUCHUN

I REALLY see some pieces that can add value, sinificance, stories and chicness to your outfit. They look so timeless, you'll treasure them for years to come..

MARRONE

Wow!

[FINALLY, Fuchun spotted a vintage Marc Jacobs biker jacket.]

FUCHUN

My Gosh! a belted camaflouge, military jacket. It's super bad-ass

VITAMIN B

Looks like a woman's jacket

 袁艾菲

Shut up B! I'm the ONLY stylist here, the only WOMAN here, and I say it's a blooming man's jacket.

FUCHUN

Get your camera ready Mr. I'm gonna buy it

袁艾菲

Buttoned all the way to the top, it will look good if teamed with dark jeans and black boots

FUCHUN

Frock me! It's a FLIPPING size MEDIUM....I'll have to lose some weight. FROCK!

VITAMIN B

It seem I was right. Frocking hell!

Dambusters' Raid style

TO COMMEMORATE the 70th anniversary of the Dambusters' Raid, the Royal Air Force museum held an Adults Only, One Night Only, Late Night display of static World War artefacts. Bradley, aka, the sidewalk playboy, had no inkling what the Dambusters' Raid was, but welcomed the invitation nontheless. It encouraged dressing up in Second World War inspired outfits, or try on those on display.

SALUTE to all the BRAVE soldiers who fought during that dreadful period, especially, those from the caribbean, New Zealand, Africa, Canada, Australia, U.S.A, and all the other allied countries - especially those who paid their own fares to come to England to join the Royal Air Force.  SALUTE. BLESS you and your families

[Dambusters' Raid - a squadron of Allied Force join the Royal Air Force to carry out a deadly bombing campaign in Nazi Journey, sorry, GERMANY. A vast number of them did not make it back to base]

Real BOMBER  jacket and beret from the museums World War 2 collection.

THe sidewalk playboy is normally over the moon when doing photo-shoots in bad-ass clothes. However, on this occasion, after viewing cluster bombs and reading the poignant stories of many of the pilots who died during the daring mission, his mood metamorphose into solemnity and Subduableness.

Sidewalk aesthetic

While crafting delectable raw foods lunches at RAW TASTES stall, sidewalk playboy, Wayne, managed a good deal of style-spotting among the sidewalk diaspora. Everyday, he thank God for the chance to see such sexy, beautiful fashion - something to dream about everynight.
jersey flip skirt by Carven

Farrah's style is totally loveable. She donned an attractive and likeable suit. Both the pleated blouse and matching skirt, are from Joseph. A hot match. Damn, it was fine as wine A smitten passer-by, with a massive crush, cried unashamedly. What a mess. The sidewalk pressure will be on Farrah to continue wearing perfect, flatteringly cool outfits from now on.

Horizontal stripes are so on trend. Sidewalk playboy was busy making salad dressings, yet Selena's incarnation of the look, caught his eyes as she strolled by. It was a sleeveless, monochrome number by Malene Birger. It looked really good! Think icecream. So perfect for spring and summer; sheer fun and playfullness.

Incidentally, the sidewalk playboy crafted raw foods in a dapper, Burgundy suit and grey shirt from TOPMAN. So good-looking. His adoration for it was annoyingly obvious, and understandable. It was, oh my God,  utter perfection. Very few raw foods lovers and passers-by failed to notice it, admirably. He had fun showing off that hard-ass, suit and tie sidewalk aesthetic.

Christian Dior Exhibition at Harrods

MASTERS, the ubiquitous sidewalk playboy, and his sidewalk fashion photography friends, Tasha and Sara, attended a private viewing of  Christian Dior Exhibition at Harrods. Incidentally, Dior was a huge fan of both Harrods and London. Just saying. Now, let us take you on a journey.
Main picture at entrance, the man himself....the iconic Christian Dior...(in background)zokaya's statement pieces: Givenchy cardigan, Mango jacket, Zara jeans, Pepe Jeans scarf, Ntastic bag and Kost laced up boots

Heading to the iconic couture dresses. Excited.
Worn by Audrey Hepburn to the Harper Bazaar 1n 1951.

Midnight blue satin ace dress worn by Diana, Princess of Wales at Metropoitan Museum of Arts in New York, to ceebrate the 50th anniversary of HOuse of Dior, December 1996
.
Evening gown worn by Elizabeth Taylor for Academy awards in 1961 (Female admirer: It's cute. [male admirer: you are alot cuter)
Black and white tweed suit worn by Margaret, sorry, MARGOT Fonteyn in 1963. Short double breasted jacket, A line skirt with matching scarf
hide and seek in the fragrance booth where Natalie Portman is depicted in Dior's cologne advert
Worn by Marion Cotillard - July 2012
These miniature creations were made from left-over fabrics. There was a shortage of fabrics. Besides, they were easier to transport owing to their small sizes. The dress with the black bow was worn by Marilyn Munro on her last fashion show.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia

HOPEFULLY, the sidewalk diaspora likes the taste of left-over desserts and puddings. Sidewalk playboy, Peacocke will not be baking today. He and his fashion friends, Krabi and Sarah, are having a whale of a time seeing Spring Summer trends ...at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia.

While helping dressing Alex perry models, they spotted makeup artist Michael Brown conducting an interview some cosmetics people.

Dress to kill, the sidewalk fashion friends are SO EXCITED about seeing the showcase of their favorite fashion demi-god, of all times, Christopher Esber. The sidewalk diaspora must be JEALOUS AS F**k

Intan's Alexander McQueen bomber jacket

ACTUALLY, Intan was satisfied with his previous bomber jacket. It was great. He really loved it. However, when he first saw this kick-ass Alexander McQueen bomber jacket, pictured, he helplessly fell in love. It's the ultimate, deluxe dream jacket. ONE that's not exactly warm but it's ultra edgy, classic and modern. It does the trick. It's on other guys' wish list...for the next lifetime, BUT it's now a firm fixture in Intan's burgeoning spring wardrobe. THIS, will last a lifetime.

There is nothing better. It's breathtaking...so sweet.  It has a nice touch - like his bed. Already, he can sense the palpable jealousy from the sidewalk diaspora.

How to look spring chic

IF SPRING has sprung where you are, lucky you. We are still decked out in gloves, scarves and coats. Shain,  sidewalk playboy, and his fashion friends; Emma and Nurhaliza, spring wardrobes are packed with bad-ass and cute pieces. However, they'll remain untouched for another two FLIPPING weeks. What the HELL!

You can't style wrong this season if you are wearing; bright colors, spots, checks, floral, stripes, monochrome.  Just select an incarnations that suits you and make you comfortable and confident...Anyway, feel free to take a peak inside Emma and Nurhaliza personal wardrobes. By all means, steal these looks:

Sergio Rossi platform wedge sandals

Heels are so last season. Retro platforms are so on trend. They are back. Your feet will be delighted with your new shoe choice. Take inspiration from divine 4" platform pictured. They are so comfortable, you can run for your life in them.

Walk, cook, vacuum and clean in a brand of platforms that fits you perfectly, soon, you wont even notice you are wearing them. That's how comfortable they'll become if you train your feet. You might have to pay a litte extra for a comfortable pair, but it's worth it and you'll be making a sensible investment.

VIEW COLLECTION floral jacket

Fall in love with this gorgeous floral jacket. It brings out the best in whatever piece it is teamed with.

Everyone is embracing floral prints now, not just us. You'll really like it also; like a dream. We can't wait to live in ours - until the prints fade. Floral are pretty flexible; suitable for both casual and professional settings.

It's hardly ever necessary for floral prints to make a comeback. |We have worn our floral denim year after year. We have outgrown it, but it is yet to be worn out. Perhaps, it will enrich us if we check its value. No amount of money can wrestle it away from us.

SCALLOPED DRESS with revealing back

That's a insanely nice shape...dress. We are smitten with it. This daring, fun dress will change your whole persona. You'll love the way it make you feel. Steal this look. Make it your personal favorite. It's worth a try.

HIGH WAIST SHORTS

CUTE. Adorable, hell yes! You may have one. They are sexy. Take the inspirations, now steal the look.
