MediaMarmalade at London Fashion Week

er Styles Rocker: (coos, rhythmically) Like the melodic poetry of Bush Swallowed, that London Fashion Week fedora hat is seriously heavy. The aesthetic spells opulence! Helplessly dazed and spellbound, , I just want to capture this Banana Republic charm, reverentially, for Gallery of Sidewalk Darlings. If you have been told it's worth more than white gold; then I’m sold; it's so, erm, emotional....
https://www.facebook.com/SidewalkDarlings
.....That sartorial element is so obstreperously cool and ponderous; it’s unbelievable. Sincerely, that’s MY fedora, my DREAM fedora hat. Hotter than goop tea, every self-respecting stylist would love to have one as a gift. I rather look at this treasure than the other elements. Judging from the aesthetic of this beauty, your fedora collection is on point.

Gulddreng: (explains to Melissa) Frankly, he loves fedoras too much

The fashion week style plate walking the sidewalk at London Fashion Week, in a stupendously delectable outfit, is MELISSA MOULD. She works in Communication while running her personal lifestyle blog Media Marmalade. Steal her inspiring style, by matching a runway fedora by Banana Republic with other key elements from the same fashion house; blouse, skirt, shoes, and Whistles bomber jacket.

..
er Styles Rocker: Seriously though, I just want you to know, that I’m WHOLLY overwhelmed with the stylish and fashionable attire you are rocking today at London Fashion Week. Wow! The editorial styling makes my heart smile. Clearly, it’s way beyond work of art, rock incarnate. All the elements are endearingly sweltering, however, I am far more into that impossibly dear fedora. Oh my gosh! It rocks like Square Hammer ghost. I’m just being honest.

Er Styles Rocker: No. I would like to thank you. More importantly, I would REALLY like to establish the inspiration behind this winning fashion week aesthete

MELISSA: A little bit Carrie Bradshaw (Caroline "Carrie" Marie Bradshaw from Sex and the City fame) the burly skirt with the polo

Er Styles Rocker: Yeah

MELISSA: ….and with some classics as always (shows off shoulder clutch) and I ABSOLUTELY love shearling (flaunts shearling details on jacket) and so I got it involved in any way I could

er Styles Rocker: Yes. I must admit, it’s super chic – COMPLETELY. Can you kindly enlighten me as to the fashion labels makeup this delightfully styled ensemble?

MELISSA: Yes. So I’m wearing Whistles bomber (jacket) Banana Republic top, skirt shoes and a Chanel handbag

er Styles Rocker: Oh, Awesome bag. I COMPLETEy love it.…That fedora!

MELISSA: (touches fedora, possessively) Banana Republic as well.

er Styles Rocker: Like Bush Swallowed, that London Fashion Week fedora hat is seriously heavy. The aesthetic spells opulence! Helplessly dazed and spellbound, I just want to capture its charm, reverentially, for Gallery of Sidewalk Darlings. If you have been told it's worth more than white gold; then I’m sold; it's so, erm, emotional. ! That sartorial element is so obstreperously cool and ponderous ; it’s unbelievable. Sincerely, that’s MY fedora, my DREAM fedora hat. Hotter than goop tea, every self-respecting stylist would love to have one as a gift. I rather look at this treasure than the other elements. Judging from the aesthetic of this beauty, your fedora collection is on point.

er Styles Rocker: How many of these smouldering elements are ensconced in your wardrobe?

MELISSA: Oh my gosh! (chuckles) I have so many

Styles Rocker: It’s fine…(sings lyrics from Fedora First – “fedoras are fine.” Why on earth do you have so many though?

MELISSA: I LOVE them. They cover my hair…(not the answer er Styles Rocker wants to hear)

Styles Rocker: (groans)    [kidding]

MELISSA: …I have bad roots (laughs) (yank off fedora to show off unruly hair)

er Styles Rocker: Quite functional. So apart from covering your hair, what does an outfit add to your outfit? What’s the perennial appeal of fedoras?

MELISSA: I just think it finishes it off. It’s the perfect touch. They make any outfit look a bit more jazzy?

er Styles Rocker: Well expressed. So it’s now time for me to ask you a question, about fedoras, of course.; If there are 3 fedoras and you take away 2 fedoras,

MELISSA: Yes (nods)

er Styles Rocker: How many fedoras do you have?

MELISSA: (hesitates, ponders)

er Styles Rocker: So there are three fedora hats, now take away two fedoras. How many fedoras do you have?

MELISSA: One? (huge grin)

er Styles Rocker: No!

MELISSA: So I have 3 fedoras, now take away two fedoras…

er Styles Rocker: Yes. How many fedoras do you have?

MELISSA: If I took them away ) (BEAMS) I have two (indicate fingers, chuckles)

er Styles Rocker: Excellence! (teases) What took you so long? As you know, at London Fashion Week, personal styles speak. Now I would really like to know how you describe yours.

MELISSA: I think it’s preppy (how NEAT), mix with a little bit of feminine, and occasionally I try to put a little scandy in to it…

er Styles Rocker: (interjects)…Yes, please! the Scandinavian aesthetic is erm, impeccably enthralling. Today, that influence is reflected, erm…

Gulddreng: (suggests the missing, word)…nicely?

er Styles Rocker: …no. BEWITCHINGLY! Against this backdrop, we are HIGHLY impressed with the WHOLEsome performance of this winning masterpiece, particularly with the element which is the clear centerpiece ; that uproariously cool fedora, of course.

MELISSA: Thank you

er Styles Rocker: What do you love about London Fashion Week?

MELISSA: I think it’s a great chance for people to show off their own personal styles.

er Styles Rocker: You have my permission to say that again. I LOVE London Fashion Week, , thank you heaven for London Fashion Week, what on earth would I do if London Fashion Week wasn’t on this week; if only you knew. I mean, if it wasn’t for the fashionable bi-annual showcase, I would not have discovered that heart-melting fedora hat, and by extension, the charming outfit that it completes

MELISSA: …there are no rules…

er Styles Rocker: …thankfully! (Sings lyrics from his frock tune called Planet London Fashion Week) Self-styled fashion police, please fall asleep…

…It (LFW) is ALWAYS so hectic…

er Styles Rocker: …dramatic aesthetics…

…different people…seasonal styles. It’s the biggest…there is

er Styles Rocker: In other phrases, the greatest show on earth…Incidentally, have you seen any shows (catwalk) so far?

Not yet. Today is a big day for me. I’m about to run for another show

er Styles Rocker: Amazing. We really appreciate you taking the time out to share your ultra immersive style and aesthetic with us

Thank you

er Styles Rocker: Do we have your permission to publish this video on our YouTube sow called Sidewalk Darlings

Sidewalk Darlings?

er Styles Rocker: Yes, please.

er Styles Rocker: Stylish! Thank yu so much and have a nice day

It's my dream fedora. my innate desire, is to cradle it like a teething toddler; then make it a permanent feature, of my fedora repertoire. If you allow it to fall off your head, I'd fall for it. FURTHER! Flaunting that fedora is a tremendous way to show-off one's style and , er, wealth. https://www.facebook.com/TheSidewalkDarlings

Makiyo: Hello. It's that London Fashion Week guy. Now just listen to his over the top expressions. (giggles)

mr Styles UltrA AAA: Look! I just wanna say that your outfit looks super AMAZING today. What an entrance! The emphasis on minimalism, flair and playfulness places the Fashion Week set under a trance. Each element is highly desirable and ravishing; I'm STRONGLY jealous. I should be rocking this Astonishingly hot attire. It's on fire. Too hot to attempt resisting.

Miss Cin: (laughs contently) Thank you

mr Styles UltrA AAA: You’re welcome. What was your inspiration for this aesthetic

Miss Cin: I wanted to wear some colours on this beautiful day, so I match grey with colours (orange scarf, yellow sandals) And I wanted to make a point. That’s why I choose a colourful; this colour scarf

mr Styles UltrA AAA: Yes! The colour-blocking is EXCELLENT; on point; it’s poised for stardom, honour and adoration. That’s why we LOVE it; stupendously.

Miss Cin: Thank you.

mr Styles UltrA AAA: A this point, I’d like to ask you about the sartorial elements that makeup this luminous HIT. First and foremost; that FLAMING fedora! It's my ultimate favourite. What fashion brand is it, please?

Miss Cin: Erm. (laughs) I don’t REALLY remember the brand of the hat.

mr Styles UltrA AAA: Never mind. Hello! That fedora! The unstoppable show-stopper. Clearly inspired by the ever chic Riviera. It's my dream fedora. my innate desire, is to cradle it like a teething toddler; then make it a permanent feature, of my fedora repertoire. If you allow it to fall off your head, I'd fall for it. FURTHER! Flaunting a FLAMING fedora is a tremendous way to show-off one's style and , er, wealth. it’s number one, super striking. Therefore, we are COMPLETELY captivated. How about that beau? That SCARF?

Mr Safitri: Strike a pose, please.

Miss Cin: I got it from a Regent Street store, ages ago. So I don’t remember what one. Sorry for that.

mr Styles UltrA AAA:Never mind. it's SIMPLY stunning. The colour is AMAZING; completely STUPENDOUS. And is that a jacket you are rocking? Or is it a coat?

Miss Cin: Oh yea! It’s from River Island.

mr Styles UltrA AAA: It’s AMAZING; way too cute. I NEED an outerwear like that, desperately. We LOVE the flattering silhouette, the effortless design. I LOVE River Island. They are sartorially competent.

Miss Cin:: (chuckles) yes.

mr Styles UltrA AAA: It’s STUPENDOUSLY amazing. And that dress? Who on earth is the designer?

Miss Cin: It’s from Banana Republic

mr Styles UltrA AAA: Wow! It's wish is my command. I'd listen and obey ever demand it articulates. Can you open the coat a bit, so we may have a better look at the delectable design.

Miss Cin: Oh yes!

mr Styles UltrA AAA: Oh yea! It’s such a BEAUTIFUL dress; beautiful and uber feminine silhouette. Besides, it matches the other elements, superbly. I’ll bet my boots it’s a Superdry creation. Oh my! Those shoes! They are AMAZING.

Miss Cin: I bought them in Japan from an individual design shop

mr Styles UltrA AAA: Can you recall the name of the shop?

Miss Cin: No. Because I bought them ages ago, so…

mr Styles UltrA AAA:… Oh. Never mind. Harcoza maybe. What’s in a name! They are completely AMAZING. And we ADORE them, immensely. How do you define your personal style?

Well (shrugs shoulders) I would say ELEGANT. But I still have my own personality… (sartorial hubbub drowns out speech)…I still want to keep myself in an elegant way….

mr Styles UltrA AAA: Elegant and chic.

Miss Cin: Pardon!

mr Styles UltrA AAA: (repeats, LOUDLY) Elegant and chic!

Miss Cin: Yes.

mr Styles UltrA AAA: Excellence! That’s precisely how your Fashion Week ensemble looks today. It's a chic picture of elegance. I appreciate the minimalistic creativity that you, clearly, invested in this spectacle. How many fedoras do you possess, incidentally?

Miss Cin: Erm. Not many. Just 2 or 3.

mr Styles UltrA AAA: When did you start ROCKING fedoras?

Miss Cin: Well, I don’t wear hats in the winter time; only in the summer. So it depends on the mood I’m in.

mr Styles UltrA AAA: Fair enough! And when you do rock a fedora, what does it do to your outfit? Why do you team a fedora with your outfit?

Miss Cin: I think a hat can REALLY highlight the points in my outfit…(sartorial chatter drowns out speech)

mr Styles UltrA AAA: …Beautifully expressed. I couldn't articulate that more eloquently

Miss Cin: (laughs) Thank you

mr Styles UltrA AAA: What do you like about London Collections, sorry, I mean London Fashion Week? (laughs ouldy)

Miss Cin: (laughs) I think it’s a REALLY good opportunity to see different designs and people who have different outfits; so MORE inspirations. That’s why I LOVE it. Also, you can meet more designers (lucky you) so it’s a good place to go…

mr Styles UltrA AAA:…a GREAT place to go. I agree with you, COMPLETELY. Excellence! Thank you so much for your time, effort, your sartorial effort, to be precise. Before you walk the sidewalk, may we have your permission to publish this video on our youtube Chanel; called SidewalkDarlings?
